The terms of reference for the Trustee Network were approved by CLA Council on June 27, 2011, in accordance with revisions to the CLA constitution made at the Annual General Meeting in 2011.
Trustee Network Terms of Reference
This network has a less formal structure than the Canadian Library Trustees Association (CLTA), a former Division of CLA, which was dissolved in 2011. However, the issues we face remain essentially the same. The following annual report presented by then CLTA Acting President Jan Harder in 2008 will give a snapshot of issues library trustees and their boards face across the country:
